Shop by color
Ask a woman what she wants to buy, and she’ll generally answer a blue sweater, a black skirt, a red jacket. That’s why we have a shop by color capability, but it’s especially valuable this time of year when our purchases are more targeted by occasion. If you go on onestopplus.com, scroll down a little, and click on holiday style, you’ll find a fantastic Shop by Color with a concentration on holiday colors…gold, silver, black, red, berry, blue and teal. I am all about blue and silver for the holidays…it just feels right to me, but my best friend Sue will never venture far from red in December. So for me, and her, here are a few great picks in our favorite colors.
I love the Jessica London Sequin Skirt and since it comes in blue, boysenberry or black, we’re all happy. I would wear it with a white silk blouse, black patent belt, patent pumps and a sheer stocking. My friend Sue would wear opaque tights and boooties, and a tight little sweater, probably black.
This could be the most perfect holiday shirt, regardless of where you live. Roaman’s Acid Wash Bigshirt has just a little luxe velvet in the front, which gives it a real winter holiday feel, yet it has enough sheerness to feel just as great dining outside in Arizona or inside in front of a fire. Lucky us, it comes in blue, berry or burgundy, and looks spectacular with denim or Velour Leggings.
Tied for sexiest holiday tops might be Torrid’s Leopard Peekaboo Peplum Top in a blue and black leopard print and the Kiyonna Allure Lace Peplum Top in burgundy. They will both have Santa fainting! They will both look great with Woman Within Pants with straight leg in soft plush velour, a straight leg silhouette that never clings, and small side seam pockets allow you to have your phone without carrying your purse around a party.
